Lyza + Ethan are two magnificent young people carving out a creative life for themselves on Cape Cod. I am honored to be photographing their dreamy wedding in 2019. We went for a very buggy walk at my favorite Cape spot; .
Megan and David chose to celebrate their marriage by eloping and making their day 100% how they pleased. I love elopements because the focus is truly on the couples' love and commitment. With a champagne sendoff, we explored Lowell, MA for some celebratory shenanigans. Huge thanks to Many Graces Flower Farm for the bouquet! Cheers Megan + David!
Sam and Julians botanical engagement session.
These two chose to elope last minute to their favorite spots, Amethyst Brook in Amherst, with a simple ceremony officiated by my dear friend Nick Brown! Paityn contacted me just a few days before and explained that they were abandoning the big wedding plans and wanted a small private ceremony. We took a snowy walk and then returned to their honeymoon suite at the Lord Jeff, all while braving the cold and collecting branches for this impromptu bouquet. Congratulations you two (soon to be three)!
Leda and Nathaneal got married right before Christmas in Barre, Vermont. These two chose to celebrate their love with a small wedding at the church Nathaneal grew up in. This wedding was so intimate and tender: every detail was handmade by the couple (including this amazing cake!) and Nathaneals father officiated. For this lovely wedding, the couple requested some vintage inspired edits which I was very happy to deliver! Cheers Leda and Nathaneal!
This maternity session was so very special. Molly and Luke have been building their own home nestled in the woods and preparing for their growing family! Molly was my sister's doula and is a local working midwife and fellow photographer. I was lucky to capture the end of her pregnancy just a few days before giving birth to her perfect babe, Liza Jane. Big thank you to my sister Molly, my part-time assistant, for throwing dress hems in the air!
Toni and Kyle got married this past September at my very favorite place on Cape Cod. Their reception took place in their sweet backyard where they put so much love and care into every detail. Foggy weddings forever!
Molly + Scotti's wedding was the real deal. Beer, doggies, rivers, best friends, and a killer playlist. These two are near and dear to my heart and watching their journey has been a complete joy. Love to you both!
I was very honored to shoot April and Nate's big day at this very special place; Cape Cinema. After a fateful meet in Indonesia, these two knew it was meant to be! This historic cinema, run by Nate's father, features a mural by Rockwell Kent and an art deco style auditorium. I wish these two a long marriage and the happiest of days!
Big thanks to Mikko Savolainen for second shooting!
Mike Dee and Alyshas wedding was all tequila shots, coffee shops, vintage cars, and colorful handmade details. These two incredible people let me third wheel it on their wedding day, and I couldn't have been more honored. Congratulations Mike and Alysha, I love you to the moon!
Bryn + Tim were wed at the Amherst Women's club on a perfect summer evening followed by a love party and lunch at the Blue Heron in Sunderland.
These two stole my heart in Woods Hole!
Arielle Jessop is a local painter who works out her studio in Holyoke with bookbinder and printmaker Lisa Hersey of Antler Editions. Here are some photos from my time with them!
Molly and Herman getting cozy at the Ashfield Lakehouse for their engagement session.
These people are near and dear to my heart. It was an honor to take their family photos at a local tree farm. All the feels!
Liz and Eric celebrated their wedding day with a gorgeous Paines Creek ceremony and DIY backyard reception. These two celebrated with style and a sense of humor and won my heart for life! I am lucky to have been a part of their special day alongside Merrisa Caroline Photography second shooting.
It was a complete joy photographing brand new Beatrix and her sweet parents Dutch + Caitlin. Cheers to cute valley families.
Dana and James were wed in August on Peaks Island, Maine. The day was warm and sunny and full of joy for these two very sweet, loving people. Their venue was the Lions Club, a charming building full of old photos. Second shooter: Gabriel El Sebae
Amidst a busy wedding season, doing an artist profile for Lisa at Antler Editions was refreshing. Lisa is an incredible and thoughtful artist, her focus is bookbinding, printmaking, and letterpress. Check out her work at http://www.antlereditions.com/
Lucky to have friends who let me practice boudoir shots with them! Thank you Becky and Tyler for being total champs today! Here are some highlights! Warning: PG 13
